Saitama Super Arena

Saitama Super Arena is a multi – purpose indoor arena located in Saitama City, Saitama, Japan, and Its spectator capacity is 37,000 at maximum settings.



This main arena capacity is between 19,000 – 22,500 when events such as basketball, volley ball, tennis, ice hockey, gymnastics, boxing, mixed martial arts, and professional wrestling take place there it is also the only Japanese especially for American foot ball.

For any event there is an ideal format which provides the greatest enjoyment and excitement. Saitama Super Arena provides that ideal format. The variety of layouts and seating arrangements made possible by movable architectural block system mean that the ideal venue for any event can be created here.

The gigantic structure, weighing 15,000 tons and 41. 5m high, moves a distance of meters horizontally, a taking with it with approx. 9,000 seats and numerous facilities to transform the Main Arena into a Stadium accommodating up to 37,000.

The enormous space created by the Moving Block system provides a venue for concerts or trade fairs held on a large scale. The laying of artificial turf over the field also makes this the first sports ground in Japan equipped especially for American Foot ball.

The arena makes maximum use of natural light and breezes to provide an open space for various events. Small scale sporting events such as fatal can be held. The arena is perfect venue for exhibitions and festival as well as community events such as flea markets.

Partitioning of the Main Arena creates a hall for the holding of concerts or gatherings. Exactly the right acoustic qualities and atmosphere can be provided for each separate event.

It formerly housed the John Lennon Museum, which displayed John Lennon memorabilia and closed in 2010. It is one of two home arenas to Japan Professional Basket ball League team the Saitama Broncos.
